5 Steps to Planning Your Next Disney Vacation with Tickets2You.com

5 Steps to Planning Your Next Disney Vacation with Tickets2You.com

How do you plan for the most magical and memorable vacation at Walt Disney World® Resort? Well don’t worry, we’ve made it easy. Before opening your wallet, here are the 5 steps you should follow to ensure a fun, hassle free vacation for you and your family this year.

Step 1: Know when to go

Between Holidays

Some of the best times to visit the parks are between the holidays. After Thanksgiving and before the week of Christmas, before and after New Year’s, before Valentine’s Day and after Labor Day.

August

August is one of the best times to visit Walt Disney World. Summer is the busiest time to visit, but if you can wait until the end of August, you can still enjoy the warm summer nights, extra hours and smaller crowds once school is back in session.

September

If you can travel in September, the weeks after Labor Day are the perfect time to schedule a trip. The weather is still warm, but the crowds have died down following the start of school around the country.

November

The month of November is generally pretty tame with the exception of Thanksgiving week, when many families have the opportunity to spend a few of their days off at “the most magical place on earth!” The weeks leading up to the Thanksgiving week will offer smaller crowds and shorter lines.

December

The time during Winter break can get pretty busy, but there is a small chance that families will be taking a vacation the two weeks before winter break actually begins. The weather starts to cool down during this time, and the first two weeks of December is one of the best times to go. You’ll get to see the parks decorated for Christmas, something that truly makes you feel like a kid again.

Weekdays

Of course, weekends are always busier than weekdays, and special events bring in higher attendance, but if you plan it just right, you can check out Walt Disney World when the parks are least crowded. During the weekdays, hotels generally offer lower rates, and you won’t be stuck in long lines and huge crowds during that time.

Step 2: Know Your Disney Tickets

Magic Your Way Base Tickets

Base tickets allow a guest to enter 1 park (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom), in just 1 day. This option does not include “Park Hopping,” meaning you won’t be able to visit two different parks in the same day. The more days you buy, the more money you save per day. For instance, a 7-day Magic Your Way Base ticket costs just under $50 a day. This type of ticket would be the best option for guests who want to enjoy their entire day solely in one park.

Magic Your Way Park Hopper Tickets

If you purchase the Park Hopper option, you may come and go throughout any of the four major parks on the same day. If you want to see everything that each park has to offer, or if it’s your first time visiting Walt Disney World®, you may be better off purchasing the Base ticket – to fully explore and experience one park takes at least a full day. The Park Hopper option is the most valuable for multiple days, or if you’ve been to the parks before and know what you want to see and what you want to skip. If for any reason you decide that you would like to upgrade your Base ticket to a Park Hopper ticket, the ticket booths at the park can help you upon arrival.

Water Park Fun & More

If you want to experience other Walt Disney World® destinations, the Water Park Fun & More tickets are for you. Guests can enter 1 park (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom), in 1 day, as well as any one of the following Walt Disney World® destinations per day of your ticket: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Disney’s Blizzard Beach, Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex or Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course. You don’t have to visit a destination on the same day as a park, but each admission must be used within 14 days of the first use of your ticket.

Park Hopper with Water Park Fun & More

If you want to see all that the Walt Disney World® Resort has to offer along with the freedom of hopping from park to park, this ticket combines the best of all worlds. Guests are able to visit all four major theme parks and park hop between them, and they also get admission to any one of the following Walt Disney World® destinations per day of your ticket: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Disney’s Blizzard Beach, Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex or Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course.

Step 3: Purchasing tickets

Now you’re ready to buy! And not just not from anyone… Authorized sellers like Tickets2You.com purchase theme park tickets wholesale, directly from Disney. Since there is not a large profit margin on Disney tickets, 1-day, 2-day, and 3-day tickets are not typically marked down as much as 4, 5, 6, and 7+ day tickets can be. There’s virtually no way an AUTHORIZED ticket seller can offer new tickets at unusually low prices without losing money. Purchase your discount Walt Disney World® tickets from Tickets2You.com and save!

And at all costs, avoid sites like Craigslist and eBay. In many cases, if someone is selling cheap Disney tickets on those sites, the tickets could have either been used completely, or never have been valid to begin with. There’s no way to tell if a ticket has been used until after you purchase them. People looking to scam someone on Disney tickets are more likely to accept cash or a money wire – this means you likely won’t ever see your money again.

Step 4: My Disney Experience

By downloading Disney’s free app, you can check wait times, park maps and hours, character schedules and so much more. It makes planning your day simple, and with just a click of a button.

Step 5: FastPass+

Skip the lines with a FastPass+. Discount Disney tickets you purchase from Tickets2You.com are the exact same as the ones you would buy at the gate. If your tickets are being shipped to you, you may reserve your FastPass+ experiences at MyDisneyExperience.com ahead of your visit. The benefits of setting up your FastPass+ experiences before your visit allow you to lock in your FastPass+ times before they run out, which can happen if you wait until you’re in the park to set them up. Buying tickets in advance also gives you more convenience and flexibility, and will help you avoid the ticket booth lines, FastPass+ kiosk lines and attraction lines.

Whatever your Walt Disney World plans entail, Tickets2You.com offers the most affordable prices on tickets to your favorite theme parks!
