A Taste of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts

Epcot is kicking off 2021 in a creative way with A Taste of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. Starting January 8, you can enjoy a celebration of visual, culinary, and performing arts from around the world. The park’s annual arts fest is modified this year, with changes like the removal of artist workshops and a concert series, there is still plenty to look forward to!

Culinary Arts

The culinary arts are on full display with a variety of innovative and unique Food Studios set up all around the World Showcase! You can indulge in all kinds of creative concoctions at each. Food Studios and other festival dining locations are open daily

Using your Festival Passport as a guide, track down the menu items and collect a stamp for each purchase. When you’ve received all five stamps, head back to Decadent Delights for your reward. Performing Arts

The performing arts are celebrated all throughout the park during a Taste of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. At select locations and stages, incredible performances are on display at varying dates and times during the event.

NEW! Voices of Liberty – The Disney Songbook

Epcot’s Voices of Liberty are performing a brand new showcase at America Gardens Theater during the Festival of Arts. The singing ensemble will perform some of the biggest hits from the Disney Songbook such as “When You Wish Upon A Star” and “Let It Go”. The new showcase is a celebration of the brilliant artistry of Disney’s talented composers and lyricists.

Art Defying Gravity

Art Defying Gravity is back every Sunday through Saturday in World Showplace. Each live performance is a breathtaking spectacle of strength.

Live Music

Every day during the festival, a talented Epcot pianist plays lively show tunes at World Showplace. You can groove along to the live music at various times throughout the day. The JAMMitors perform daily as well, entertaining crowds from the Mill Stage in the Canada pavilion.

Visual Art in Performance

Visual and performing arts are combined in a high energy display called Visual Art in Performance. An amazing visual artist takes the stage in World Showplace every Thursday through Sunday to wow the crowd by painting favorite Disney characters in just minutes.

Featured Exhibits are on display daily in Future World from Park Open to Park Close, including the colorful Chalk Art Gallery. In the World Showcase, enjoy pavilion exhibits that highlight artistic works from each of the countries represented in the showcase, including:

You can step inside the art in a series of unique photo ops around the World Showcase. Recreations of familiar works create the perfect backdrop for a creative photo. Scenes include:

  • Washington Crossing the Delaware – Emmanuel Gottlieb Leutze

Interactive Festival Fun

In addition to all of the art you can enjoy as a spectator, there are tons of fun interactive activities to explore throughout the park.

Expression Section: A Paint-By-Number Mural

The Expression Section mural, located in Future World West, is open daily ’til 5 PM. Stop by and watch the collaborative art project, or grab a paintbrush and join in complimentary the fun yourself!

Chalk Full of Character

Whimsical chalk recreations of popular Disney characters are hidden all around the World Showcase. As you wander through the festival, be on the look out for colorful drawings of familiar faces like Abu, Jiminy Cricket, and many more!

Figment’s Brush with the Masters

Figment’s Brush with the Masters is a unique way to explore the Arts Festival while hunting for famous artwork hidden in each pavilion o the World Showcase. Start by purchasing a map and stickers from Odyssey Festival Showplace, Pin Central, or World Traveler. Then as you wander through the showcase, keep an eye out for Figment-themed picture frames and match the corresponding stickers to their locations on the map. Once you’ve located all of them, return your completed map to Disney Traders for a special surprise!

Enemy Ink

At Enemy Ink, you can show off your creative side by designing your very own t-shirt souvenir. Pick the color, design, and style, then watch as your custom creation is printed right before your eyes.

Kidcot Fun Stops

Kids can create their own masterpiece on an artistic adventure through the World Showcase. Just grab a brush and palette to begin your journey to each Kidcot stop, which have all been reimagined for a Taste of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts!

Animation Academy

Stop by America Gardens Theater from 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM for a step by step lesson from an Animation Artist! Artists will guide you through a tutorial of drawing various Disney Characters. An artist board, paper, and pencil will be provided for the daily lessons.
