Get Ready for Bier Fest at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay!

Starting August 25, an all-new weekend event is coming to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay! Bier Fest is a celebration of more than 200 years of Oktoberfest tradition, creating a truly unique Bavarian festival. Every Saturday and Sunday through September 16 guests can experience festive music, traditional German Cuisine, and  a large selection of beers from local breweries and around the world. The four weekend festival provides a perfect end-of-summer celebration!

Festive Cuisine

Eat your way around the festival with classic snacks and shareable plates that perfectly represent Oktoberfest. At the tavern, you can grab a beer accompanied by Fish & Chips with malt vinegar aioli. Other food stops offer a larger variety of dishes, including:

Sampler Lanyards

Samplers allow guests to prepay for up to 10 samples of food and drink offerings around the festival. You can choose from a 5-item Sampler ($29.99) or a 10-item Sampler ($49.99). Both options come with a lanyard and can be used at any festival stop during Bier Fest.


There are also a few different beverage tasting opportunities that may be interesting to guests who want to explore a variety of cocktails led by an expert. The Bourbon Tasting costs $19.99 and includes four unique samples. Also $19.99 is the Sweet Wine Tasting, which includes five samples of local fruit based wines. For $29.99 you can experience both with the Bourbon & Sweet Wine Tasting, which includes four bourbon samples and five wine samples.

Busch Gardens Brew Club

The fun doesn’t end when Bier Fest does! Beer enthusiasts can join the Busch Gardens Brew Club for a full year of access to the membership-only brew club at the Serengeti Overlook Pub. The membership includes an exclusive 20 oz beer stein and discounted refills of craft beers and light snacks at the club for a full year. The club, located on the second floor of the Serengeti Overlook, has over 20 rotating brews on tap from seasonal ales and unique craft beers to classic favorites. While the membership is active, the steins must remain in the brew club. Members will have a personal chamber to store their steins in and once the membership ends, the mugs can be taken home. The Brew Club can be accessed at any time during Serengeti Outlook’s operating hours and members can get discounted refills at the pub and the brew club.
