Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage
Theater of the Stars, located on Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, is currently home to Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage. The Broadway-style performance allows you to “relive the romance and magic” in a musical reimagining of the Beauty and the Beast. Belle, the Beast, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Chip, Mrs. Potts, and other characters take the stage in front of amazing scenery for a 25-minute spectacle inspired by the tale as old as time.
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
At the Hyperion Theater in Echo Lake at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests can get in on the Frozen fun during For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. The 30-minute show features Arendelle’s royal historians retelling the story of their enchanted kingdom with the help of scenes from the movie replaying on a big screen. Later Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff come out to lead the audience in a sing-along to hits from the movie such as “Let it Go.” A few other surprises may pop up during the show as well…
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!
You can experience all the action of an Indiana Jones film live on stage in Echo Lake at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular stars Indy and Marion performing adventurous stunts, facing off with bad guys, and reenacting thrilling scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark. In addition to the daring antics, the 30-minute experience keeps you on the edge of your seat with incredible special effects and behind the scenes secrets.
Festival of the Lion King
At Harambe Theater, located in the Africa section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can watch an immersive theatrical retelling of the classic Disney film The Lion King. The Broadway-style show is filled with songs, puppetry, and spectacle that celebrate the beloved movie.
When the show begins, the theater lights dim to the sounds of the African savanna. The animal residents of the Pride Lands are all coming together to honor Simba, the future Lion King, with a grand celebration.
Huge puppets, dancers in brilliant costumes, acrobats, stilt walkers, and a fire dancer bring the whole theater to life during the 30-minute show. Festival of the Lion King is soundtrack by familiar classic songs including “Hakuna Matata”, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight?”, and “Circle of Life.”
Finding Nemo – The Musical
Finding Nemo – The Musical takes place at Theater in the Wild in DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The lively stage production that tells the story of nervous Marlin and forgetful Dory’s quest to find his son Nemo.
In addition to the huge puppets and amazing underwater special effects, the 40-minute show features 14 original songs that were created just for Finding Nemo – The Musical. The fun musical numbers were created by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the Academy Award-winning duo behind Frozen and Coco.
