At the Epcot Food & Wine Festival, you’ll do more than satisfy your hunger and quench your thirst. Sharpen your culinary skills at the Food and Wine Festival with famous chefs and experts who will teach you new skills, seminars that will enlighten you about food and wine and demonstrations where you can experience hands on cooking. You’ll learn new tips and tricks, how to pair food with the appropriate beverage, muddle and mix like a bartender, sample an array of international cheeses and much more.
Want to impress your guests? Stop by the Chef’s Showcase at the Festival Welcome Center for A Lesson From the Pros. These 45-minute sessions will improve your skills in the kitchen as some of the most celebrated chefs in the world teach you culinary tips. Master the art of making salmon, beef, halibut, pork, seafood and pastries and enjoy a sampling of the food and beverages being demonstrated. Attend a Food and Wine Pairing event and celebrate the marriage of food and wines from different regions. Study the intricate flavors of different cultures as you indulge in a flavorful affair. Your wine representative will pair each dish with an appropriate selection and guide you on a cultural voyage. Choose from Mediterranean, Japanese, Moroccan or Italian pairings. Explore Mediterranean aromas in dishes inspired by Asia, Europe and Africa while sipping delicious wine. Enjoy a 3-course Japanese dining experience while learning about the complexities of the sake complimenting each course. Journey through the spices and herbs of Morocco while enjoying 3-courses of authentic Moroccan cuisine paired with wines that are difficult to find in America. Enjoy heartwarming dishes in a 4-course meal inspired by the robust flavors of Southern Italy while sipping regional wines.
Sharpen your pencils and perfect you culinary skills in a new series at Epcot Food and Wine Festival – The Boot Camp Series! Attend a Boot Camp session on select Sundays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. for an interactive learning experience with a prestigious expert. This intense, basic training course are perfect for chefs of all ages and skills. Choose from the following classes:
- Food and Wine Pairings 101 with Andrea Robinson, a master sommelier
- Chocolate with Erica Davis, a Graycliff Chocolatier
- Cake Decorating with Gabrielle Parisi of Carlo’s Bakery
- Pickling 101 with Allen Susser of Chef Allen’s in Hollywood
Mix and Muddle like a pro at a Mixology Seminar! Sample and sip traditional cocktails and original drinks while learning from master mixers. You’ll enjoy this happy hour event and learn new drinks to mix and serve at your next event. Mixology Seminars are daily at 6 p.m.
On Saturdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m., tour a wheel of flavors at a Cheese Seminar. Each international slice is paired with a wine, beer or beverage for a full taste of flavor. For a more in-depth experience, attend one of seven new seminars led by experts in all things cheesy. From Italy, France and Spain to the United States – each event serves delicious cheeses from different regions and a wine or beer selection.
