The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival

Disney’s annual Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is upon us once again with all new designs, designers, and so much more to explore! This year’s festivities include all-new topiary displays, interactive play areas for kids, and demonstrations from celebrity personalities from HGTV.
Speaking of HGTV, several awesome demonstrations will ensure park guests will get an informative understanding of the work necessary to create the beautiful gardens and arrangements they have come to see. Speakers like Matt Blashaw and Taniya Nayak will get homeowners on the right track to add curb appeal and style to their homes. While Matt Muenster and Alison Victoria will teach guests the best way to get the most bang for their buck as they take on major indoor remodels.

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival has no shortage of activities to keep the kids entertained. They will be able to enjoy both the Disney Pixar Cars and Disney Pixar Monsters University Gardens that will have their favorite characters made from these classic Disney movies. There’s also the Backyard Play Garden, presented by GoGo Squeez, that will let kids take part in fun, exciting activities sure to get the blood pumping.
Of course, we can’t forget to mention the delicious food available through the festival’s numerous Outdoor Kitchens. Epcot Center, as a park renowned for its diverse display of culture, is sure to please everyone at this year’s festival. The various countries are all represented with their own unique contributions to this year’s menu. Be sure to check out Hanami where authentic Japanese cuisine collides with the annual ritual of admiring springtime flowers and foliage that is renowned in the land of the rising sun. Primavera Kitchen, located near the Italy pavilion, will have guests dancing on their feet and their taste buds awakened with delicious, freshly prepped Italian classics. From the Jardin de Fiestas at the Mexico Pavilion to the Lotus House in China, there’s something for everyone!
Finally, there is the Flower Power Concert Series, an outdoor concert series featuring some of the most timeless musical acts from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Confirmed artists include the Village People, Starship, Chubby Checker, and the Alan Parsons Project.

Make sure to capture the memories of this amazing festival and take a bit of it home with you. The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival has four conveniently located pavilions set up in Mexico, Germany, and Canada. These pavilions will allow guests to shop local floral vendors, as well as nurseries in the central Florida area. The four shops will be open daily from 11AM to 9PM. Disney cast members will be ready and eager to fill your every agricultural need.
There’s so much more that we simply can’t cover it all at once.
