Get Fun Fire Safety Training for the Whole Family at LEGOLAND Florida!

LEGOLAND Florida Resort is helping the National Fire Protection Association kick off Fire Prevention Week with Firefighter Friday on October 6! Families can learn all about fire safety with fun activities throughout the park that help teach the event’s theme “Look. Listen. Learn. Be Aware. Fire Can Happen Anywhere.”

In addition to meet and greets with Firefighter Max and other LEGO City heroes throughout the day, you can test your firefighting skills at the NFPA Fire Rescue Academy with a timed family challenge for a chance to win a LEGO prize pack and participate in a giant LEGO City Firefighters LEGO build. There will also be fires popping up all over MINILAND USA and LEGO City, and firefighters need all the help they can get in locating them so they can be extinguished. Once you’ve located all the fires, submit your answers for a chance to win a LEGO prize pack.

The overall message of Firefighter Friday is to encourage you and your family to apply the lessons learned at the park when you go home at the end of the day with these simple steps:

  • LOOK: Check around your home for potential fire hazards and fix them before a fire actually starts.
  • LISTEN: Become familiar with the sound of the smoke alarm and plan a family meeting spot a safe distance away from your house so that everyone is prepared if/when the alarm goes off.
  • LEARN: Find at least two different ways to get out of the rooms in your house and make sure that each exit can be easily accessed if an emergency does occur.

These activities will take place in MINILAND USA and LEGO City from 11 AM to 4 PM on October 6 and are included with the cost of admission to LEGOLAND Florida! Find discount LEGOLAND tickets and so much more more tickets2you.com!
