The Complete Guide to Universal Dining Plans

The Complete Guide to Universal Dining Plans

Dining plans can make a day at Universal Orlando much easier. The plans allow you to pay for a whole day’s worth of food in advance, so all you have to do in the parks is scan your dining card when you want to stop for a snack. The variety of meal plans allows guests to pick the dining plan that best fits your needs for your time at the parks. They can be purchased with your vacation package or by themselves via online purchase, at the theme park front gates, at the dining reservation carts inside the parks, or at the Universal Ticket Center in the Universal Orlando Resort hotels. Once you’ve purchased your dining plan, you will receive a ticket voucher that will need to be exchanged for a valid Universal Dining Plan card at Guest Services or any dining reservation cart in all three parks and Universal CityWalk. Universal Dining Plans can be used at participating restaurants in Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Universal’s Volcano Bay, and Universal CityWalk. Each dining plan can be used for one day at a time. You can add extra days to your plan or check your card balance at any Guest Services location. Gratuity at full service restaurants is not included in the price of the meal plan.

Dining Plan Options

  • Universal Dining Plan: The Universal Dining Plan is only available for purchase as part of a vacation package with park tickets and on-site hotel reservations. It includes one full service meal, one quick service meal, one snack from food carts or quick service locations, and one non-alcoholic beverage per day. A full service meal can be redeemed at any of the full service restaurants listed below and covers one entree, non-alcoholic beverage and one dining plan dessert per person. Dining plan desserts will be specially marked on the restaurant’s menu. A quick service meal can be redeemed at any one of the quick service restaurants listed below and covers one entree and one non-alcoholic beverage per person.
  • Universal Dining Plan – Quick Service: The Quick Service dining plan can be purchased by any guest and does not require a ticket bundle or hotel reservation. This plan includes one quick service meal, one snack from any food cart or participating quick service location, and one non-alcoholic beverage per day. The quick service meal covers one entree and one non-alcoholic beverage per person. It costs $23.99 plus tax per person, per day.
  • Universal Dining Plan – Quick Service + Coca Cola Freestyle Souvenir Cup: This dining plan is basically the same as the Universal Quick Service Dining Plan, but rather than one free non-alcoholic beverage per day, guests who choose this plan will get a Coca Cola Freestyle Souvenir cup that can be used for unlimited refills each day of your dining plan. Total cost is $29.99 plus tax per person, per day.
  • Coca Cola Freestyle Souvenir Cup: If you’re not interested in a full dining plan, you can still purchase the refillable Coca Cola Freestyle Souvenir cup for $14.99 plus tax.
