Halloween Events Coming to Central Florida

Halloween Events Coming to Central Florida

It’s almost that time of year for cooler weather, pumpkins, candy and costumes – Halloween is just around the corner! Every fall, Central Florida is home to the most frightfully fun events in the country. Every theme celebrates the season with a holiday-themed event, and we’ve picked some of our favorites to tell you about here. From the truly terrifying to the slightly spooky, you’re sure to find events that will entertain the whole family.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween

On select nights from 9/15 – 11/1, you can catch this fun event at the Magic Kingdom. You’re invited to dress up and trick-or-treat throughout the park after regular hours. The kid-friendly bash includes a parade, costumed Disney characters and a special fireworks show, HalloWishes. There’s a Haunted House too if you want a few more thrills!  This is a separate ticketed event.

Halloween Horror Nights

You can catch Universal Orlando’s Halloween scarefest on select nights from 9/18 – 11/01 this year. Take a walk through 9 horrifying haunted houses and 5 chilling scare zones, or catch two live stage shows. Select rides will also be open during the event. This event is not recommended for kids under 13 and there are no costumes or masks allowed. You can purchase tickets to Halloween Horror Nights at Tickets2You.com!

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular

You can catch this family-friendly, underwater “fantasea” event on select weekends from noon to 7p.m. and is included with your regular park admission. Kids can trick-or-treat at different stations while talking to fun sea creatures, and make sea-themed arts and crafts. Sesame Street characters take the stage throughout the day for a kooky, spooky Halloween musical.

Join LEGOLAND’s Brick-or-Treat Halloween Celebration every weekend in October for entertainment, trick-or-treating and all-new nightly fireworks. Gather in Miniland USA for a haunted adventure with a scavenger hunt, super brick build activities and an all-kids costume contest with fun prizes. Kids can marvel at larger-than-life LEGO builds like the largest LEGO Jack-O-Lantern in the world. All the fun is included with regular park admission.

Zoo Boo Bash

The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens hosts this all-day Halloween event on select days during October. Kids are encouraged to bring goodie bags for trick-or-treat stations set up around the park. Families can go on a hayride or learn about the myths and realities of misunderstood animals. There’s also a costume contest at 1 p.m. every day of the event. The event is included with your regular park admission price.

Central Florida has plenty of events to entertain young and old alike during this haunting Halloween season. Check out other attractions you can visit on your vacation at Tickets2You.com!
