Halloween Kids’ Weekends at Busch Gardens

Halloween Kids’ Weekends at Busch Gardens

Halloween Kids’ Weekends at Busch Gardens takes over Sesame Street Safari of Fun starting October 3! The family-friendly Halloween event brings tons of Fall fun to the park every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Contact-Free Trick or Treating

It’s not Halloween without the trick or treating, right? There are contact-free candy stations all around Sesame Street Safari of Fun during Halloween Kids’ Weekends at Busch Gardens. Park ambassadors wearing gloves and masks will be standing by to deliver candy to guests. A variety of awesome new reusable trick-or-treat bags are available at the park this year!

Festive Halloween Photo Opportunities

Around the Safari of Fun, there are characters all dressed in their Halloween costumes ready to snap a picture. Big Bird, Oscar, and Count Von Count are available to pose for festive photos from a safe distance.

Not-So-Spooky Howl-O-Ween Radio Show

The Count’s Not-So-Spooky Howl-O-Ween Radio Show runs three times per day on Halloween Kids’ Weekends at Busch Gardens. The Count, who acts as the “Master of Scare-emonies,” takes the stage with his Sesame Street friends in the Sunny Day Theater. The whole crew performs to some of the Count’s favorite tunes during the show. The outdoor theater features socially distant seating, which allows families to safely enjoy the show. Showtimes are 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3:45 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Cookie Decorating with Cookie Monster

New to the event this year is Cookie Decorating with Cookie Monster. Families can join the lovable monster for some socially distant decorating at single party tables. For $14.99 per person, you can enjoy exclusive photo ops, a cookie decorating kit, and milk or a bottle of water.

Costumes are welcome, but guests are still required to wear protective face masks inside the park. Don’t forget, you’ll need a reservation to visit Busch Gardens Tampa. For more fall fun at your favorite theme parks, check out this guide to Halloween in Orlando!
