The holiday season begins at Hollywood Studios on November 9. In addition to new decorations at Echo Lake, such as giant christmas trees, colorful garlands, and extra large ornaments, there is a full roster of seasonal entertainment that will be available to enjoy until December 31.
Joining the line-up of park festivities this year is Sunset Seasons Greetings, a new holiday projection show on Sunset Boulevard. Billboards and buildings like the Hollywood Tower will be brought to life with scenes of Mickey, Minnie and other beloved Disney characters sharing their favorite Christmas stories. Watch the Toy Story gang try to guess what new toys will be joining Andy’s collection after Christmas, laugh at The Swedish Chef’s constant babbling as he turns the street into giant gingerbread houses, and be mesmerized by many other scenes throughout the one of a kind holiday show. The snowy, heavily decorated street will be transformed continuously throughout the night every night during the holiday season.
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing a Long gets a holiday twist, with Olaf the snowman joining the show for the season. The 30 minute show, normally dedicated to a musical retelling of the story of Anna and Elsa, will feature songs from the upcoming animated short “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.”
Wayne and Lenny from Prep & Landing are back with Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! starting November 9. The elves lead a wild adventure to the North Pole in a projection show at the Chinese Theater featuring scenes from Mickey’s Christmas Carol, Beauty and the Beast, Pluto’s Christmas Tree, Bambi and more. The evening spectacular includes a remarkable display of lasers, fireworks, and even snow.
From November 6 through January 7, enjoy lunch or dinner with your favorite Disney friends at Hollywood & Vine! At Minnie’s Holiday Dine, guests can celebrate the season with Minnie, Mickey, Daisy and Goofy with a festive meal complete with food, music and festive activities. Make reservations online or call (407) WDW – DINE for more information.
Meet Santa at the Once Upon a Time Shop from November 9 til December 24, where he’ll be hanging out daily meeting guests and listening to holidays wishlists in the shop’s vintage setting. Santa has to head back to the north pole after Christmas, but Santa Goofy will be taking over at Once Upon a Time until December 31.
End the evening at the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! dessert party, featuring a surprise Disney character stopping by to sign autographs and pose for pictures. The nightly party offers holiday snacks, desserts, wine, beer and specialty beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) in addition to reserved viewing for the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! evening show.
