Our local theme parks offer fun like no other all year round, but they really step it up a notch for the holidays! From spectacular fireworks shows and patriotic park activities to extra special dining experiences, keep reading to find the perfect Independence Day event fo your family!
Red, White & BOOM! at LEGOLAND Florida
You can celebrate Independence Day all weekend long at LEGOLAND Florida. On July 4-6, patriotic festivities are taking over the park throughout each day.
In addition to the par’s regular fun and games, guests can collaborate on a huge LEGO build of a giant American flag and dance the day away at the Club Brixx DJ Dance Party. During performances of Brickbeard’s Bounty Ski Show, there will also be a special salute to the troops.
All of these activities lead up to one of the biggest fireworks show of the year. At the Brick & Boom Fireworks Celebration guests can watch a mesmerizing display of LEGO bricks exploding in the sky over Lake Eloise with the help of special viewing glasses.
The Fourth of July festivities at LEGOLAND Florida are free with park entry!
Independence Day at Universal Orlando
At Universal Orlando, you can enjoy four days of July 4th activities from July 4 through July 6. At Music Plaza, DJ M-Squared will spin top hits throughout each day and the band Raydio will take the stage for a live performance as well. Stilt walkers and some of your favorite Universal characters will be around to dance and enjoy the show right along with the rest of the crowd!
During this celebration, you can have food and drinks delivered straight to the Music Plaza so you don’t have to lose your spot in the crowd. Download the Universal Orlando Resort app to order a variety of summertime delights such as:

Each night will end with a brilliant display of pyrotechnics and confetti cannons high in the sky that can be viewed from anywhere in the park! The festivities begins at 5:00 PM and carry on until the park closes at 10:00 PM every night during the celebration. The Fourth of July entertainment schedule includes:
- Live Performance by Raydio – 5:00 PM, 6:15 PM, and 8:15 PM
- DJ M-Squared – 5:45 PM, 7:15 PM, and 9:00 PM
- Character Dance Party – 6:15 PM – 10:00 PM
- Pyrotechnic Display – 9:00 PM
- Cinematic Celebration – 9:45 PM

4th of July at SeaWorld Orlando
Electric Ocean will be in full swing at SeaWorld Orlando on July 4th, but the festivities will include a one of a kind patriotic finale at the end of Independence Day.
In addition to the regularly scheduled Ignite spectacular, there will be a special fireworks display over the water at Bayside Stadium complete with brilliant pyrotechnics and lasers.

Independence Day Fireworks at Busch Gardens Tampa
In addition to the extra thrill of riding the park’s roller coasters after dark, guests can enjoy all the fun of Busch Gardens Summer Nights with a special fireworks finale.
DJs and dancers keep the dance party going all night long with live entertainment in Stanleyville and Cheetah Hunt plazas. At the end of the night, an extended fireworks show will light up the sky to the tune of an exciting patriotic medley.
All of the July Fourth festivities are included with regular park admission!
America’s Birthday Celebration at Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom and Epcot will host Independence Day festivities on July 3 and 4. Guests can enjoy patriotic treats, live performances, and more!

- Holiday Park Hours (July 4): 8 AM – 1 AM
On both days, guests can dance along as DJs spin hit Disney songs during the Hoedown Throwdown in Frontierland and the Galactic Gathering in Tomorrowland. Miss Piggy, Kermit, and other muppet friends will also be reenacting famous moments in American history during “The Muppets Present… Great Moments in History.” The fun live show will take place several times throughout both days near the Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square.
On July 3 and 4, a brilliant fireworks display will light up the sky starting at 9:15 PM. “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” features a patriotic soundtrack and unbeatable pyrotechnics.
- Holiday Park Hours (July 4): 9 AM – 9 PM
The Voices of Liberty will perform anthems of America several times throughout the day in the American Adventure pavilion. The a capella group will be on stage at the American Gardens Theatre at 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8:00 PM. They will also entertain the crowd in the rotunda at the American Adventure at 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Some popular Disney characters will also be hanging out in the American Adventure pavilion all dressed in their Spirit of ’76 outfits, ready to meet and greet with park guests. Around the park you will find festive treats like patriotic cupcakes, Boom Berry Lemonade, and red, white and blue sangria. At 9 PM, “The Heartbeat of Freedom” fireworks finale will begin just after Illuminations: Reflections of Earth.
Woody’s Roundup at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Woody and friends are heading to Disney’s Contemporary Resort for an awesome celebration nightly on July 4 – July 6. Guests will enter a larger than life recreation of the rustic Woody’s Roundup playset for an evening of games, crafts, barbecue, and character appearances from Woody, Buzz, Jessie and Bullseye.
Throughout the night, Mr. Microphone keeps the party going by playing some of Woody’s favorite songs as guests enjoy activities and a delicious barbecue dinner. The buffet menu features a variety of delicious offerings including:
- Grilled Boneless Chicken Breasts and Thighs with Roasted Peach Coulis
- Fire-Roasted Vegetable Cake served with a Chipotle Succotash
- Low and Slow Smoked Pork Ribs

Along with the delicious dinner you can participate in fun activities like a trick roping demonstration, camp-style carnival games, and a Toy Story craft station. There will also be a balloon artist on hand to make balloon art that looks like Toy Story toys.
The party starts at 6:15 PM in the Fantasia Ballroom and wraps up at 9:15 PM when guests will move outside. Each evening ends with a viewing of Magic Kingdom’s fireworks at the porte-cochere. On July 4, guests can enjoy a patriotic spectacular called “Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.” For other nights of the event, the evening will end with a viewing of Magic Kingdom’s “Happily Ever After” fireworks show.
