LEGO Star Wars Days Return to LEGOLAND Florida

LEGO Star Wars Days Return to LEGOLAND Florida

The highly popular LEGO Star Wars Days event is coming back to LEGOLAND Florida and this year it will be held for two weekends; May 6-7 and May 13-14. The event promises tons of Star Wars action for the whole family to enjoy!

Kids 12 years old or younger should gear up for the day in their best LEGO Star Wars costumes and head to Fun Town between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to register for the costume parade at the Wells Fargo Fun Town 4D Theater.  If The Force is impressed by your costume, you may find out if you’re just the padawan they’re looking for. Throughout the day, up to 250 jedis-in-training will receive a badge and a rebellion submission card that can be turned into The Studio Store for a chance to win a LEGO prize pack.

While you’re in Fun Town, you can test your family’s Star Wars knowledge and LEGO building skills by going head-to-head with other families in Family Battlefield. Guests can also settle in at the Wells Fargo Fun Town Theater to watch R2D2 and C-3PO retell the Star Wars Saga during the Droid Tales Double Feature. Both shows run for approximately 22 minutes; Episode Four starts at 12:30 p.m. and Episode Five follows at 1:00 p.m.

Grab an entry form for the Droid Scavenger Hunt and make your way to  Miniland U.S.A., where you’ll find recognizable scenes from the Star Wars franchise created with more than 1.5 million LEGO bricks as well as giant models of  characters from the films, including Darth Vader and Darth Maul. As you wander through Miniland, be on the hunt for the missing R2D2 in order to complete the scavenger hunt. Completed forms can be turned into The Studio Store for a prize pack while supplies last.

Take some time to help build the world’s largest Yoda in MINILAND U.S.A., and check out the Mosaic build in Priate’s Cove to help build a giant LEGO mosaic. Once you’re done at the Mosaic build, you can pick up a postcard depicting the completed mosaic while supplies last. Both team builds open at 10 am and will stay open until the models are complete.

Other activities include learning tips and tricks from LEGOLAND’s resident master builders, meeting LEGO Darth Vader, competitive builds and fun photo ops for families to pose in front of. Make sure to share your photos online using the event’s hashtag, #BuildTheForce.

Guests can experience all of this and so much more with regular park admission tickets. You can find discounted LEGOLAND Florida tickets on tickets2you.com
