Madame Tussauds has brought some serious star power to their newest wax museum in Orlando, where the new attraction will debut alongside The Orlando Eye observation wheel and the SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium, opening May 4th. The Orlando Wax museum will be the 18th Madame Tussauds attraction in the world.
Jimmy Fallon, host of NBC’s “The Tonight Show,” was recently at the Madame Tussauds in Times Square for a special launch of five brand new never-before-seen wax figures of himself. The event marked Fallon’s one-year anniversary on The “Tonight Show,” which was also the first time in history that Madame Tussauds unveiled five unique wax figures of a single celebrity. His figures will be housed in Madame Tussauds across the country including New York City, Washington D.C., Hollywood, San Francisco, and of course, Orlando.
Among the other wax figures that will make their way to Madame Tussauds in Orlando include Jim Parsons from the hit show “The Big Bang Theory,” Sofia Vergara from “Modern Family,” Jennifer Lopez, Leonardo DiCaprio, Neil Patrick Harris, Beyoncé, Ricky Martin, Taylor Swift, Johnny Depp and even historical figures like Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln, and Albert Einstein.
Each wax sculpture is a work of art that takes a team of professional artists and sculptors who take over 500 measurements and spend months on research to recreate these world-famous icons. Guests will be able to move through themed areas of the wax museum, meeting their favorite stars from music legends and film actors, to historical figures, sports stars, and more.
