Get ready to party like you’re in The Big Easy, as Universal Studios Florida is transformed into a family-friendly version of one of the world’s biggest street parties, Mardi Gras. Continuing until April 18th, guests with a Universal Studios Florida annual pass or a Universal Studios general admission will have access to Mardi Gras concerts, and parade and French Quarter food & music. The party continues, so make sure to stop by before it’s over!
Make sure to check out The Band Perry, performing on April 11th, and Trey Songs, performing on April 18th.
Stop by the French Quarter Courtyard for sizzling Cajun and Creole food, including jambalaya, Creole gumbo, Andouille sausage, red beans & rice, and beignets, all available for purchase, and enjoy the sounds of authentic zydeco bands from New Orleans. Tap your toes to some of Louisiana’s most popular bands, like Big Al and the Heavyweights playing their set on April 11th, and Gravy, performing theirs on April 18th.
During each Mardi Gras event night, check out the parade that rolls through the streets of Universal Studios, where you can line the streets to catch beads and dubloons for souvenirs. Kids can enjoy their own private parade experience in the Little Jester’s Parade Viewing Area, located in front of the Brown Derby Hat Shop. This area is available beginning one hour before the parade starts.
The party continues for those 21 and up following the concert during each evening, where you can head over to Universal’s CityWalk for another New Orleans themed party, featuring music, food and fun, happening until 2 a.m. Show your paid admission to Mardi Gras to receive free general admission to five unique clubs and bars including Pat O’ Brien’s, CityWalk’s Mardi Gras headquarters.
Events will occur rain or shine, with prices, times, and entertainment being subject to change without notice. Purchase your Universal Studios Orlando general admission tickets to enjoy Orlando’s biggest party, continuing on April 11th, and April 18th.
