Praise Wave is returning to SeaWorld Orlando starting on January 20, with different concerts from popular Christian artists every Saturday through February 10.
Each artist will perform at the Nautilus Theater twice a day, at 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Seating inside the theater is first come, first serve but reserved seating is available. This year’s lineup includes:
- Saturday, January 20: Steven Curtis Chapman
Steven Curtis Chapman is the most awarded Christian music artist, with a career that has spanned 30 years. With over 11 million albums sold, Chapman has 58 Dove Awards, 48 #1 singles, 10 Gold and Platinum certified records and 1 American Music Award to his name.
- Saturday, January 27: Lecrae
Lecrae, a two-time Grammy winner, has released 7 albums and mixtapes throughout his career. His 2014 album Anomaly debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200, Rap, Digital, Christian, Gospel and Independent charts!
- Saturday, February 3: SWITCHFOOT
In addition to the Grammy award winning group’s top hits like “Dare You to Move”, SWITCHFOOT is deeply active in philanthropic efforts with their Bro-Am Foundation.
- Sunday, February 4: Colton Dixon
The American Idol alum’s 2013 debut album A Messenger set the record for biggest first week sales for a new Christian act and became the #1 selling album by a new solo Christian artist. *Concert times are modified on this date, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM
- Saturday, February 10: MercyMe
This Grammy Nominated band, known for songs like I Can Only Imagine, So Long Self, and Here With Me, has sold more than 8.5 million CDs and DVDs and earned 27 #1 radio hits. The group has won several American Music Awards and Dove Awards.
- Sunday, February 11: Matthew West
West’s latest studio album All In features the #1 single “Broken Things”. His single “Hello My Name Is” held steady at #1 for a record breaking 17 weeks at radio.
