Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom
Disney has multiple holiday celebrations during the winter holiday season. At Magic Kingdom, the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a special nighttime event, taking place on select nights from 7 p.m. until 12 a.m. from November 7th to December 22nd. This year’s festivities feature an all-new stage show, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, where holiday magic comes alive and music, laughter and snowflakes fill the air! Don’t forget the spectacular fireworks and an jolly holiday parade to end the evening!
Walt Disney World’s Epcot
Holidays Around the World at Epcot lets guests ring in the season with food, music and celebrations from around the world. Each of the 11 World Showcase nations features traditions, sounds and flavors as celebrated by their culture, while costumed performers bring their stories to life. The Holidays Around the World event occurs daily from November 25 – December 30 and features the Candlelight Processional, where celebrity narrators retell the stirring story of Christmas, accompanied by orchestra and mass choir. Guests can also visit Santa and Mrs. Claus each evening at 9:30PM at The American Adventure pavilion to share holiday greetings and take photos.
The whimsical world of Grinchmas arrives in Universal’s Island’s of Adventure on December 5 and lasts until January 1, 2016. The beloved character from Dr. Seuss’ holiday tale of the Grinch himself will be there to meet and greet fans in the wintery wonderland. The event also features a live retelling of the Dr. Seuss classic with music recorded by Mannheim Steamroller while your favorite characters from Who-ville come to life onstage and off. Over in Universal Studios Florida, guests can enjoy Macy’s Holiday Parade from December 3 to January 1 with floats and balloons directly taken from the world-famous New York Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade! Running the same dates as Grinchmas, the parade features marching bands, clowns, balloons, floats and even an appearance by Santa.
SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration brings waves of holiday spirit to guests with this wintry, watery wonderland on select nights from November 25 to December 31. All-new this year, guests can meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and friends. Enjoy delicious food, fantastic live shows, awesome holiday shopping and plenty of entertainment. Catch the sparkling Sea of Trees, skaters dancing on ice and stunning live shows like Shamu Christmas Miracles, O Wondrous Night, Clyde and Seamore’s Countdown to Christmas, and Elmo’s Christmas Wish. Here, the season meets the sea with festivities inspired by the natural world.
During the holidays, Busch Gardens transforms their parks into a winter wonderland for their Christmas Town experience. This special event is included with park admission so you don’t have to pay extra to experience Christmas Town. Guests can meet with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, enjoy Christmastime entertainment, attractions, holiday shopping, festive treats and tons of twinkling lights on 20 select dates from November 25th to December 31st.
