Guide to This Year’s International Food & Wine Festival at Epcot

The 24th annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival returns on August 29 for 87 days of culinary delights from around the world, special entertainment, and seminars. Epcot’s longest-running event will take over the park daily through November 23.

Global Marketplaces

The Global Marketplaces are without a doubt the biggest stars of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. Set up all throughout the park, these special dining locations serve up delicious food and drink offerings created by culinary geniuses. Check out the menus for all 30 marketplaces here.

Family-Friendly Events & Activities

Disney Du Jour Dance Party

The Disney Du Jour Dance Party is back on the Fountain View Stage in Future World, but this year the fun has been extended to seven days a week! An awesome DJ will keep the party going on Sunday through Thursday and Radio Disney stars will stop by for live performances on Fridays and Saturdays. The live performance schedule includes:

Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt

Remy is back up to his usual tricks, with new hiding spots all around the World Showcase and Global Marketplaces. Start the Ratatouille Hide’N’Squeak Scavenger Hunt by purchasing a map from select locations including Pin Central, Port of Entry, and World Traveler at International Gateway. As you spot the hidden Remy statuettes around the showcase, place a sticker on the matching ingredients on your map. Once you have found them all, you can take your completed map to Disney Traders for a special surprise from Chef Remy!

Emile’s Fromage Montage

This year Remy’s brother Emile is on an adventure of his own, searching for cheese served in creative ways at the Global Marketplaces. You can complete Emile’s Fromage Montage by purchases 5 different cheese dished and place a corresponding stamp at each spot in your Festival Passport. Then, bring your passport to Shimmering Sips for a complimentary cheesecake! The Fromage Montage menu items include:

  • Earth Eats: IMPOSSIBLE Cottage Pie (V)
  • The Cheese Studio: Black Pepper Boursin Souffle with Fig Marmalade (V)
  • The Alps: Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with Baby Potatoes, Cornichons, and Baguette (V, KA)
  • Germany: Schinkennudeln (KA)
  • Brazil: Pao de Queijo (GF, V)
Candy Sushi Interactive Experience

Cost: $10 per person

You can learn how to create your own candy sushi in an interactive workshop at Sunshine Seasons in The Land Pavilion. Disney chefs will explain how to make masterful maki or nigari-style rolls with gummies, fruit strips, and crisped rice. Guests of all ages can enjoy the fun seminar, which will take place at 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM on every day of the festival.

Family Play Zone

Specialty Dining and Pairing Experiences

Along with all of the exclusive food and beverages that are available for purchase at the Global Marketplaces around the park, you can experience culinary creations from around the world with specialty dining experiences.

Culinary Tour of Japan

Cost: $160 per person

The Culinary Tour of Japan takes place on select Thursdays during the festival at Tokyo Dining in the Japan pavilion. This dining experience features a three-course dinner with sake and beverage pairings inspired by the islands of Japan. The Culinary Tour takes place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the following dates:

French Family Meal Traditions

Cost: $99 per person

Get a unique look at a traditional French family meal at Monsieur Paul in the France pavilion on select Fridays and Saturdays during the festival. The dining experience is a “nostalgic culinary adventure” with dishes inspired by the chefs’ family recipes that are paired with delicious wines. French Family Meal Traditions takes place from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM on the following dates:

  • October 4, 6, 11, 13, 20, 25, and 27
  • November 1, 3, 8, and 10
Italian Food, Wine vs. Beer Pairings

Cost: $99 per person

On select Tuesdays and Thursdays, you can compare how well wine and beer complement a variety of Italian dishes. You can choose from a robust menu of Italian delights that have each been paired with the chef’s selection of wine and beer. The five-course gourmet meal will take place from 1:30 PM – 4:15 PM at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria on the following dates:

  • October 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 and 31
  • November 5 and 7
Italian Regional Food and Wine Pairing Luncheon

Cost: $125 per person plus tax

Experience the “true essence of Italy’s rich culture” at the Italian Regional Food & Wine Pairing Luncheon on select Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Each dish served during the six-course meal will be expertly paired with a glass of delicious wine in the Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar at Tutto Italia Ristorante. You can reserve your spot at the luncheon on any of the following dates:

  • September 25
  • October 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30
  • November 6
Mediterranean Food and Wine Pairing

Cost: $69 per person plus tax

On select Mondays and Wednesdays, you can attend a Mediterranean food and wine pairing at Spice Road Table in the Morocco pavilion. After a sparkling wine reception, guests will enjoy four tasting courses that celebrate unique Mediterranean flavors. Each meat or seafood dish is perfectly paired with a delicious wine. The Moroccan dining experience is available on the following dates:

  • September 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, and 30
  • October 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, and 30
  • November 4, 6, 11, and 13
Mexican Tequila Lunch

Cost: $85 per person plus tax

Guests who are 21 and older can enjoy a Mexican Tequila Lunch at La Hacienda de San Angel on select Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 12 PM to 1:30 PM. The four-course meal features regionally themed dishes that are each paired with complementary tequila and mezcal selections that are provided by a certified tequila ambassador. You can experience the Tequila Lunch in the Mexico pavilions on the following dates:

  • September 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, and 26-27
  • October 3-4, 9-11, 16-18, 23-25, and 30-31
  • November 1, 6-8, 13-15, and 20-22
Parisian Breakfast

Cost: $45 per person plus tax

You can start your Saturday morning with a Parisian Breakfast at Chefs de France from 9:15 AM to 10:45 AM during the festival. The dining experience features cappuccino, hot chocolate, or French sparkling mimosas accompanied by a Parisian breakfast buffet of croissants, pastries, and more. The Parisian Afternoon, Sandwiches, Macarons, and Bubbles!

Enjoy a Parisian Afternoon at Monsieur Paul in the France pavilion from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM on select Saturdays during the festival. Guests can indulge in unlimited mimosas and tons of delicious Parisian treats like finger sandwiches, petit fours, and macarons. Event dates include:

The Hibachi Experience: A Year of Celebration

Cost: $190 per guest plus tax

The Hibachi Experience takes place in the Nihonbashi Dining Room at the Japan Pavilion’s Teppan Edo restaurant. The five-course culinary adventure will be available on select Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Dishes are inspired by traditional meals served during festivals and holidays in Japan and are prepared tableside. Each course is served with a sake selection that perfectly complements the flavors in the meal. You can reserve your spot at The Hibachi Experience on the following dates:

Special Guest Chef Personalities

Throughout the festival, there will be several opportunities to mix and mingle with some of your favorite celebrity chefs like Maneet Chauhan, Rick Bayless, Art Smith and so many more! From book signings to premium dining events, there are many ways to interact with the best in the business, including the Sunday Brunch with the Chef Series.

Sunday Brunch with the Chef Series

Cost: $139 per person plus tax

Sunday Brunch with the Chef will take place on select Sundays from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the World Showplace Events Pavilion. Sessions will include a brunch buffet hosted by a different celebrity chef each week. During the brunch, you will learn some of the culinary host’s best tips and tricks to use in the kitchen. Guest personalities include:

  • September 1: Jamie Deen (co-owner of The Lady & Sons Restaurant in Savannah, Georgia)
  • September 8: Carla Hall (Celebrity Chef & author of Carla Hall’s Soul Food)
  • September 15: Fabio Viviani (Fabio Viviani Hospitality Group, Celebrity Chef, and Restauranteur)
  • September 22: Richard Blais (Top Chef, Owner of Trail Blais culinary company)
  • September 29: Robert Irvine (Food Network’s Restaurant Impossible)

Party For The Senses

One of the most popular parts of the Food and Wine Festival is Party For The Senses, which takes place on select Saturdays at the World Showplace Events Pavilion:

  • October 19 (Celebrate all Disney Chefs on this night!)
  • November 9

During the upscale bash, guests can enjoy creative dishes and delicious cocktails in a grand tasting event that showcases the skills of a variety of chefs. The international group FEMMES OF ROCK is back this year, keeping the party going with live performances all night. The “most sophisticated event of the year” has two seating options available to choose from.

Category 1: Wine View Lounge (6:30 PM – 9:30 PM)

Cost: $359 per person

The first seating option includes a private reserved table, a special chef’s briefing and photo op, a selection of artisanal cheeses, and exclusive premium bar service all night long.

After check-in, which begins at 6:15 PM, Category 1 guests can start the evening with “amuse bouche” and a celebratory welcome drink. At the end of the night, you’ll be sent home with a parting gift and a wine glass souvenir. Complimentary Minnie Vans service is also available to take Wine View Lounge guests to a Walt Disney World Resort hotel after the event.

Category 2: Reserved Seating (7:00 PM – 9:30 PM)

Cost: $229 per person

The second category includes a reserved table on the main floor, a specialty welcome drink, and an exclusive wine glass souvenir. Check-in for category 2 guests begins at 6:45 PM. You can get more information and purchase your tickets to Party For The Senses here.

Tailgate Tasting Hosted by ESPN’s Monday Night Football

Football lovers can enjoy an all-new Tailgate Tasting, which will take place on select nights during the festival. The 45-minute program will be held in the World Showplace Events Center between the United Kingdom and Canada pavilions on Sundays from September 8 through November 17. The tastings will feature a flight of three sample-sized food items with complementary beverage pairings. Each week, the food and drinks will be inspired by the cities playing in the following Monday’s game. Culinary experts will also give tips on how to prepare the dishes at home.

ESPN’s Monday Night Football event will cost $19 per person, plus tax. You can attend the tasting on any of the following dates:

  • September 15: Cleveland Browns vs. New York Jets
  • September 22: Chicago Bears vs. Washington Redskins

Culinary Demonstrations

Cost:  $19 per person plus tax

Culinary Demonstrations will take place on select Fridays and Saturdays on the Festival Center Stage at 12:30 PM. During the 45-minute sessions, world-renowned Disney chefs will provide instructions and tips for preparing various meals and offer tips on improving your cooking skills. Seminars & Workshops

Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It

Cost: $45 per person plus tax

Mix it, Make It, Celebrate It is a hands-on workshop that allows guests to work side-by-side with professional chefs, bakers, and mixologists. The 75-minute sessions are a great way to expand your knowledge and technique of topics ranging from cupcakes, cocktails, spices, and more! Beverage Seminars

Cost: $19 per person plus tax

Wine, beer, and spirit enthusiasts will enjoy the 45-minute Beverage Seminars held on select days during the festival. Experts and presenters from all across the country will host informative sessions on a variety of alcoholic topics. Check out the full schedule here.

Cost: $29 per person plus tax

Cost: $95 per person plus tax

You can learn more about beverage pairings with cheeses from around the world in Wine & Cheese seminars on select Saturdays from 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM. The 90-minute sessions take place in the World Showplace Events Pavilion, and the full schedule includes:

Festival Merchandise

Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Souvenirs: take home a little piece of the festival with everything from apparel to tabletop accessories; cork and wine color inspired items

Chef Minnie & Mickey: The Chef Minnie and Mickey collection is a variety of items decorated with rose gold accents, pink and purple colors, and tons of sparkles. Some offerings include cupcake headbands, rose gold mugs, apparel, and more!

Brews Around the World: This collection features bottle openers, growlers, drinkware, apparel, and baseball caps that celebrate craft beers from all over the world.

Recipe for a Figment: Chef Figment shares his recipe on a collection of apparel, accessories, and baking items.

Chef Remy: This collection is inspired by the host of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. Various kitchenware and apparel items represent Remy’s favorite menu items from the Global Marketplaces.

Passholder Collection: Passholders will have access to special exclusive pieces from each collection. The first set of items debuts on August 29 and the rest will be available on September 12.

The Festival Wine Shop: Choose from a selection of wine and spirits that are featured during the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.

Eat to the Beat Concert Series

Along with all of the delicious food and beverages that will be available at Global Marketplaces, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series will be a major part of Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival.
