Heroes Weekend at LEGOLAND Florida is Back!

LEGOLAND Florida’s Awe-Summer activities have been pretty scarce this year. However, things are picking up with Heroes Weekend at LEGOLAND Florida! From September 5-7, guests of all ages can enjoy the event presented by the National Fire Protection Association. In addition to LEGOLAND Florida’s usual “brick-tacular” fun, you can also explore a variety of special entertainment. All of the event’s activities that represent the NFPA’s annual Fire Prevention Week.

Character Experiences

Like many park events, Heroes Weekend at LEGOLAND Florida will feature exclusive meet-and-greets. Youll get to pose with several characters who aren’t usually hanging out at the park!

LEGO Doctor Max is ready to meet guests of all ages near the LEGO City Stage at the following times:

  • 11:00 AM
  • 12:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM
  • 4:00 PM

Over by the NFPA Rescue Academy, you’ll find LEGO Policemen at the following times:

  • 11:45 AM
  • 12:45 PM
  • 2:15 PM
  • 3:15 PM
  • 4:15 PM
Special Activities

Join other park-goers in building a LEGO City mosaic by the LEGO City Burger Kitchen. The collaborative LEGO build will be open each day from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Also in LEGO City, you can check out the COVID-19 Awareness Table from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In this ever-changing time of COVID-19, the NFPA is dedicated to providing families with valuable information. Their goal is to offer best practices for minimizing risk and avoiding hazards. Information will cover everything from the current global health situation to injuries and fire-related issues.

At select times throughout the day, you’ll see Firefighter Stilt Walkers entertaining the crowd near the NFPA Rescue Academy. The performers can be found showing off their sky-high skills at the following times:

  • 4:45 PM

The Fun Town 4D Theater will be showing a 12-minute film called The LEGO City 4D: Officer in Pursuit. During the show, guests will join LEGO City Police Officers in a cross-town adventure. The 4-D mission includes water, bubble, and wind effects. Showtimes are 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM.
