Restaurant Updates at Walt Disney World

As attractions and experiences continue to resume operation across the resort, select Walt Disney World dining locations are reopening with fresh new menu offerings!

Tusker House Restaurant

Tusker House Restaurant reopens to guests on June 20. The buffet at Animal Kingdom’s character dining experience will be replaced by a new family-style menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast offerings include:

  • Pastry Basket: Safari Bread, Multigrain Croissants, and Cornbread. Served with Whipped Butter, Nutella, and Strawberry Preserves.
  • Fresh Fruit: Served with Honey Yogurt Sauce
  • Breakfast Platter: Potatoes, Scrambled Eggs, Mickey and Simba-shaped Waffles, Bacon, Sausage, and Durban Chicken-Egg Curry with Jasmine Rice

For lunch and dinner, there are several delicious African-inspired dishes along with several mocktails and cocktails to enjoy. The new and improved menu includes:

  • Assorted House-made Breads: Served with Hummus, Coriander, and Mango Chutney
  • African Inspired Salads: Kachumbari and Arcadian Green Salad with Citrus Vinaigrette Dressing

  • Smoked Turkey: Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon, Grenadine, and Minute Maid Lemonade with a hint of Hickory Smoke, garnished with Luxardo Gourmet Maraschino Cherries

Chef Mickey’s – Disney’s Contemporary Resort

On May 16, an all-new dinner experience will debut at Chef Mickey’s in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The all-you-can-eat family style meal features “no touch” appearances from Mickey Mouse and his pals. Guests can also enjoy a menu filled with delicious offerings the whole family will enjoy, including:

  • Citrus-poached Shrimp Salad: Made with Creamy Cilantro Lime Broccoli Slaw, Greens, Avocado, and Tomato.

Cape May Cafe – Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Cape May Cafe finally reopens on May 18 at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Unfortunately, there will be some changes to the New England-style dining experience when the restaurant is back up and running. Guests will be able to enjoy breakfast and dinner at Cape May Cafe, but Minnie’s Beach Bash Character Breakfast and the Seafood-and-More Dinner Buffet will no longer be available. The all-you-care-to-eat menus will still feature a variety of delicious Coastal-inspired offerings for family-style breakfast and dinner.

  • Assorted House-Made Pastries: Croissants, Multi-grain Croissants, French Rolls, “Lobster Tail” Pastries filled with Pastry Cream, and Mini Muffins with Butter, Jelly, and Chocolate-hazelnut Spread
  • Mixed Fresh Fruits

  • Breakfast Platter: Mickey Waffles, Buttermilk Pancakes, Brioche French Toast, Cage-free Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Breakfast Sausage, Crispy Potato Barrels, and Beef Hash

The Plaza – Magic Kingdom

The Plaza Restaurant at Magic Kingdom has recently undergone a major menu makeover. Located on Main Street U.S.A., the table service restaurant has expanded their offerings to include a variety of delicious new items.

  • Chili: Pinto Bean Chili served with Cashew Cream and Lime Wedge (Plant-based)
  • Seared Crab Cakes: Served with an Apple Slaw
  • Plaza Loaded Fries (Serves Two): Crispy Fries, Melted Cheddar, House-made Bacon, and Green Onion
  • BLT Salad: Made with Iceberg Lettuce, Tomato, House-made Bacon, and Green Goddess Dressing
  • Soup of the Day
  • Roast Beef Au Jus: House-cooked Roast Beef, Caramelized Onions and Peppers, and Horseradish Sauce on a Toasted Sub Roll. Served with Au Jus for Dipping.
  • Fried Chicken Sandwich: Fried Chicken Breast, Pickled Onion, Cabbage, and Spicy Mayonnaise served on a Foccacia Bun
  • Plaza Turkey Club: Roasted Turkey, House-made Bacon, and Mayonnaise on Toasted Sourdough Bread
  • Home-style Meatloaf: Served with Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables
