Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends Are Back at Busch Gardens!

Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends return to Busch Gardens on January 30 with two all-new themes! The festivities take over the Safari of Fun from 11 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays through February 15.

Elmo’s Birthday Celebration

From January 30 through February 7, Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends at Busch Gardens are dedicated to celebrating Elmo’s birthday! The celebration will include meet and greets with Sesame Street friends, special treats, photo ops, and more!

NEW! Birthday Dance Party

Join Elmo for a fun, socially distant dance party at Sesame Street Pavilion at 11 AM and 2:30 PM each day! In addition to dancing, you can sing along with the guest of honor and sign a giant birthday card.

NEW! Elmo’s Birthday Storytime

Elmo is sharing a special story at Sunny Day Theater at 12:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Families can listen to his celebratory tale from physically distanced seats in the outdoor theater.

Photo Opportunities

You can meet Elmo and friends at Sunny Day Theater at various times throughout the day. Elmo will be waiting to pose with guests for physically distanced photos at 1:00 PM, followed by other Sesame Street characters at 2:30 PM.

Limited Time Birthday Treat

During Kids’ Weekends, you can head to Snack-En-Geti for a special cupcake in honor of Elmo’s Birthday! The celebratory treat will only be available to purchase for a limited time.

My Fuzzy Valentine

From February 13 – 15, Sesame Street Kids’ Weekend is dedicated to Valentine’s Day. The family-friendly love fest is filled with special activities starring all of your favorite Sesame Street friends.

Valentine’s Day Story Time

At Sunny Day Theater, families can grab a physically distant seat and enjoy a special Valentine’s Day story. Your favorite characters will take the stage at 12:30 each day for “Love From Sesame Street”, where they share what love means to each of them.

Find the Valentines Scavenger Hunt

Your favorite monsters have lost their valentines throughout the Safari of Fun, and they need your help finding them. When you locate all of them, you can make your way to Abby Cadabby’s Treasure Hut for a special sticker!

Valentine’s Art with Sidewalk Chalk

Head over to Air Grover to learn how to draw Sesame Street friends! During the physically distant activity, you can test your skills by recreating your favorite characters with chalk on the sidewalk near the attraction.

Make-Your-Own Valentine

At Sesame Street Pavilion,you can make your very own valentine! Show off your artistic side by creating a special message for someone you love.

Cookie Decorating To Go

Guests of all ages can make their own Valentine’s Day edition of Cookie Monster’s favorite treat during Kids’ Weekend. Get your cookie decorating kit from Snack-en-geti to get started on creating your sweet treat. Keep an eye out for Cookie monster, he may stop by to say hello!

Photo Opportunities

Snap a special Valentine’s Day photo with Sesame Street friends at select times in Sunny Day Theater! Elmo will meet and greet with guests at 1:00 PM each day, followed by other characters at 2:30 PM.
