Guide to Universal Orlando Tickets

Purchasing theme park tickets can be a pretty confusing process, especially if you’re not sure exactly what you’re looking for. With three different parks to explore at Universal Orlando Resort and tons of ticket options to choose from, there’s a lot to think about when planning your park visit.

First, you need to know which parks you want to attend: Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Universal’s Volcano Bay. Then, think about how many days you’ll want to spend exploring the resort. You can choose up to five days, or select one of four annual pass options if you plan on being a frequent visitor!

Florida Residents

Florida Residents can score all of these ticket options at a better price! When you arrive at the park, you’ll just need to show your valid Florida driver’s license/identification card. It is important to note that Florida Resident tickets do have some applied block out dates, so make sure to check those out before you buy!

1-Day Tickets

One-day tickets have a few different rules than multi-day tickets. If you’re attending the park for one day, you can choose to visit just one park or select a park-to-park option which will allow you to go between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure as much as you’d like during that day. However, the price of one-day tickets vary based on the time of year so you’ll have to select the date you plan to attend from a ticket calendar that displays the three seasons: Value, Regular, or Anytime. With one-day tickets, you can choose from the following options:

  • 1-Park, 1-Day: This ticket is only valid for one day of entry at Universal Studios OR Universal’s Islands of Adventure
  • 2-Park, 1-Day: This ticket is valid for park-to-park entry at Universal Studios AND Island’s of Adventure
  • 1-Park, 1-Day (Volcano Bay): This ticket is ONLY valid for one day of entry to Universal’s Volcano Bay

1-Park Per Day Tickets

If you’d like to just enjoy one park per day, this is the ticket option for you. Choose up to five days of fun, and dedicate each day of your ticket to exploring either Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, or Universal’s Volcano Bay. Two-Park tickets are valid for entry into Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, and three-park tickets are valid for entry to all three parks. One park per day ticket options include:

  • 2-Park, 2-Day Base Ticket
  • 2-Park, 3-Day Base Ticket
  • 3-Park, 3-Day Base Ticket
  • 2-Park, 4-Day Base Ticket
  • 3-Park, 4-Day Base Ticket

Choose the 2-Park option for access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure or the 3-Park option for access to Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Universal’s Volcano Bay. You can easily go from Universal Studios to Islands of Adventure via The Hogwarts Express. Train Stations are located in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.
